Richmond Wedding Shoot - Steve and Cora

Cora is another great local wedding photographer and it is always an honour when someone in the profession loves your work and wants you to shoot for them.  Cora and Steve were married earlier this summer and unfortunately I was already booked for their date.  We decided to do an after wedding shoot with Steph doing the make-up and have a fun half day hitting our favourite spots in Richmond.  They wanted something edgy and unique but still wanted the classic wedding portraits and I think we nailed it. 

We started of shooting some details at their place.

Our first location was Richmond City Hall. I love shooting there, great lines.

We headed to the skate park next for a totally different feel.

 

We finished shooting in Steveston, the evening light was perfect.

A little off camera flash, okay a lot of off camera flash.

Love it.  Fun and romantic what more could you want.

Mayfair Lakes Wedding - Kim and Greg

We had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of the super fun and happy Kim and Greg at Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country Club.  These two couldn't stop smiling and laughing the whole day.  It is so much fun to capture images of people so in love.  We would also like to thank Michelle from Bellissima Weddings who did an amazing job making sure all the little details of the day fit together perfectly.

Furry Creek Wedding - Maegan and Kris

Maegan and Kris were married at the beautiful Furry Creek Golf and Country Club on the sea to sky highway.  Here are a few of my favourites from the day.

Stanley Park Wedding - Sarah and Sebestian

Hera are a few shots from Sarah and Seb's wedding at The Stanley Park Pavilion.  If you are a bride looking for a great place to get married get in touch with LJ.  We liked it so  much that Steph and I decided to get married there.

Great series here.  These two are big hockey fans,  Sarah for the Canucks and Seb for the Sharks.  For the first dance they came out to the hockey night in Canada theme song, dropped the gloves and duked it out and then broke into a great thrilller dance.  Hilarious.

We also had the pleasure of working with one of our favourite DJ's Ryan Brendzy at Groovin N' Movin DJ Services.  This guy knows how to keep the dance floor packed and the party going all night long......

Nilum and Edwin's Wedding at the Stanley Park Pavilion

Weddings in Stanley Park are so much fun.  Nothing says Vancouver better than this great location.  We had a great day with Nilum and Edwin, they were so much fun and so obviously in love.   The day began in Steveston with some shots of just the two of them before the ceremony.  We got together with the wedding party at Stanley Park and the weather held out and we had an amazing day.  I did do something a little different for this post.  As always I couldn't narrow down the shots to ten or so to post on the blog so I made a few little story boards to capture the feeling of the day a little better.
