Rob and Lauren's E-Session in Richmond

Rob and Lauren were so much fun to photograph I can't wait to shoot their wedding next year.  We had fun at the pumpkin patch, played on the tractors, talked to some lamas and even lost a shoe.

While this picture was shot Rob was standing barefoot in freezing cold mud.  Let's just say the pumpkin patch was a little wetter and a lot muddier than we thought.  Rob was a champ and wanted to keep shooting but we were losing light so we called it a day.

This last shot is my favourite of the day.  I love the old school look with the John Deere.  You can really tell these two are big time in love with each other.  Not only are the a beautiful couple they are both a lot of fun to be around.

California was Awesome

Steph and I have just returned from a whirlwind RV trip around California.   We had a great time camping, seeing the sights and soaking up the sun.  The main purpose of the trip was to attend attend a photography workshop put on by Joe Photo and John Mireles, two of the best wedding photographers in Southern California.  The focus was using lights to overpower the bright midday sun.  We made the sun our friend instead of searching out the shade.  Here is the type of images we shot that would be impossible without the lights.

I have a ton of images to post but just like our trip to England those are going to have to wait.  I checked my email when we arrived home and it was loaded. AAAHGGHHH.  The problem with checking out for two weeks is the work just piles up.  I have lots of crazy stuff to talk about in future posts, lets just say California was interesting.

Going Back to Cali

Jaimie and Greg's Wedding in Vancouver

We had a great day for pictures during Jaimie and Greg's amazing wedding day.  We got some great shots at Granville Island and the library.  These two take a great picture amd the day was a lot of fun. 

I'll be honest I can't remember what was in the lockett but I know it was someone special to Jaimie.

The minister allowed me three only pictures during the ceremony.  I think I chose wisely.

I love this shot.  It's has a very old fashioned, formal feel to it.  Very different from most of the casual shots of the day.

We were lucky with a perfect gust of wind after trying unsuccessfully to throw the veil.  I love it when mother nature cooperates.

Check out the eyes on these two.  I really don't know when they are thinking kids but they'll be lucky no matter whose eyes they get.

Tiffany Ann and Jason

I had the pleasure of shooting Jason and Tiffany Ann's wedding this summer.  We spent an hour at Granville Island this fall getting some great family portraits of them with their parents and cute dog.
