Cecilia and Jim's Wedding in Point Grey

Cecilia and Jim were married at the beautiful Aberthau heritage mansion in Point Grey, Vancouver.  They celebrated the day with close friends and family friends who traveled from all over to be with them on their special day.

Jim was reading the comments in the guest book while waiting for the big moment.

The first kiss was a doozy, it lasted for about 3 minutes.

While the formal shots look great I love the casual family feel of this portrait just as much.

It's refreshing to see a couple who really knew how to dance.  It was a classic setting in which to watch this romantic first dance.

Lindsay and Ward's Wedding at the Riverhouse.

Here are a few of my favourite shots from Lindsay and Ward's wedding at the Riverhouse in Ladner.  Luckily the rain held off for the ceremony and Lindsay and Ward were troopers when it came to getting some pictures in the rain.  A lot of couples probably would have just skipped pictures but I know they will treasure these shots forever.

As a wedding photographer I just love the way Lindsay's eyes look so stunning.  I couldn't decide which shot I liked the best so I posted both.

Ward may be looking extra cool and confident in this picture but I know how nervous he really was.

  There was some cool brickwork overlooking the river.  I love the leading lines that draw you into these shots.  Again I couldn't decide which on I liked better so I posted both.

Call it the Reservoir Dogs shot or Tony and Paulie before a hit, either way it's a classic guy shot.

Kelly and Ian's Wedding in Richmond

My beautiful cousin Kelly tied the knot in my parents backyard on 07/07/07.  She married her studly teacher husband Ian Eisenhood from Bainsbridge Island near Seattle.  The wedding was a fun family affair and the reception was a blast.

Maybe I'm biased because they are family, but these two were really easy to take pictures that looked relaxed yet romantic.

The boats in Steveston really add a west coast feel to the shots.

Lisa and Jeremy's Wedding

It was such a pleasure being part of Lisa and Jeremy's wedding day.  They were so relaxed and  there love for each other shone through the whole day.  We had a little drizzle all morning but the sun decided to peak out just in time for the ceremony at the beautiful Mayfair Lakes Golf Course.  Here are some of my favourite shots of the day.

Such a  classic shot.  Lisa has an amazing complexion and skin that glows for the camera.

There was beautiful natural light streaming through the limo window.

The boys looking sharp just before the ceremony.  Jeremy was one cool cat, not an ounce of nerves before the wedding.

Look at the smiles.  Mom and Dad were so happy and proud.  This shot is one of my personal favourites, what a supportive loving family.

A beautiful moment.  We had a little time after the formal shots for Lisa and Jeremy to spend a little time together just the two of them enjoying the moment.  This is what weddings are all about.

The dance floor was packed for most of the night but this guy had some serious moves.

The last shot of the night.  They are still looking pretty darn good after partying like rock stars all night.  Jeremy and Lisa were hoping aboard a plane to Mexico just a few hours after this picture.
